SmartReply was founded in 2001 by experienced entrepreneurs Dave Savage and Gregory Wexler. Together, they’ve built an innovative, motivated management team to run SmartReply while continuing to remain active as Board Members, and in the development of strategy and execution of the plan.

Responsibility: Eric is responsible for leading SmartReply's culture and strategy, and building the structures and teams to achieve SmartReply's core purpose and BHAG.
Past Experience: At Catalina Marketing, Eric held roles in leadership, strategy, and M&A integration. His career has been focused in retail and catalog marketing and advertising solutions, including a client-side position at Sears.
What He Contributes: Vision, culture, and structure to bring highly effective solutions to pragmatic and dubious buyers. Eric states frequently that it’s not the new ideas that will fail or succeed; it’s the timing, presentation, and trust of those ideas to solve the immediate problems of pragmatic, global-class clients.
Mike Romano, EVP Strategic Development, Co-founder

Responsibility: Mike is responsible for identifying, developing and managing key strategic partnerships which are aligned with SmartReply’s corporate objectives, and that deliver sustained, long-term revenue growth.
Past Experience: Mike has led the sales and channel growth of two public companies and three technology start-ups. Highlights include building the second largest online advertising network with OnAir.com and helping create the largest publicly traded senior housing company at ARV Assisted Living. Mike also played professional baseball for the Cincinnati Reds.
What He Contributes: Mike is a driven and focused leader with a repeatable track record of accelerating organizational revenue and profitability by developing C-level relationships, building high-achieving sales teams and growing strategic partnership channels.
Scott Springer, Senior Vice President, Business Development "What drew me to SmartReply was the energy and intelligence of it’s people and a passion for developing innovative retail marketing solutions that address today's need for rapid response to key consumer behavior."Responsibility: Leading the business development, client strategy, and account services teams and responsible for revenue growth and management.
Past Experience: In his tenure at Catalina Marketing, Scott managed teams in sales and strategy of targeted advertising to the largest CPG brands in the US, and integrated the acquisition of Market Logic with Catalina’s grocery direct marketing division.
What He Contributes: He’s not only a seasoned direct marketer, but also a skilled operational manager and experienced product and service architect.

John is also responsible developing and managing strategic partnerships and for driving product development.
Past Experience: John has a rich background in strategic consulting and technology start-ups. Clients have included C-suite relationships at Fortune 200 companies. John has served as CEO and founder of two web 1.0 companies. He came to mSnap on the ground floor and developed the processes to rapidly scale the ad network.
What He Contributes: Focus on strategy development as well as tactical implementation, with ongoing priority of improving time to market
