Eric Holmen, President

Eric is responsible for leading SmartReply's culture and strategy, and building the structures and teams to achieve SmartReply's core purpose and BHAG while bringing highly effective solutions to pragmatic and dubious buyers.  Eric states frequently that it’s not the new ideas that will fail or succeed; it’s the timing, presentation, and trust of those ideas to solve the immediate problems of pragmatic, global-class clients.
At Catalina Marketing, Eric held roles in leadership, strategy, and M&A integration. His career has been focused in retail and catalog marketing and advertising solutions, including a client-side position at Sears.

Mike Romano, EVP Strategic Development, Co-founder


Mike is responsible for identifying, developing and managing key strategic partnerships which are aligned with SmartReply’s corporate objectives, and that deliver sustained, long-term revenue growth. He is a driven and focused leader with a repeatable track record of accelerating organizational revenue and profitability by developing C-level relationships, building high-achieving sales teams and growing strategic partnership channels.

He has led the sales and channel growth of two public companies and three technology start-ups. Highlights include building the second largest online advertising network with OnAir.com and helping create the largest publicly traded senior housing company at ARV Assisted Living.  Mike also played professional baseball for the Cincinnati Reds.

Martin Kristiseter, VP of Ad Network Development

Martin Kristiseter spearheads the SmartReply Ad Network.  As the Vice President of Ad Network Development, Martin has been instrumental in merging new and old media through mobile advertising, building one of the largest mobile Ad Networks in the country.  Martin is a graduate of University of Colorado and received his MBA in 2004.  Prior to joining SmartReply, Martin founded mSnap, a mobile ad-network that SmartReply acquired in March of 2009.  mSnap became the largest provider of mobile marketing and advertising solutions to traditional media companies in the U.S. with over 1,400 media companies under contract.

Theada Burgess, Director of Finance

Theada Burgess, Director of Finance at SmartReply, is responsible for helping the company make smart financial decisions to facilitate its growth, and for overseeing financial operations including managing financial risk and establishing systems to allow for growth.  Prior to joining SmartReply, Theada worked in various industries including the non-profit sector, manufacturing, government and advertising.  She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, and has more than 20 years experience in financial management and accounting.

Tania Eckweiler, Senior Director of Marketing

Tania Eckweiler, Senior Director of Marketing, is responsible for promoting the SmartReply brand and leading strategic marketing initiatives to support the company’s growth and sales teams.  She is also responsible for overseeing the marketing department, advertising, industry-leading webinars, whitepapers, newsletters, conferences and media relations for SmartReply.  Prior to joining the team, Tania led marketing and branding initiatives at Catalina Marketing, Crown Inc. and Acosta Sales and Marketing.  She worked with high-profile brands in the grocery and retail industries, while actively expanding into diverse consumer markets.  Tania holds more than 15 years experience in brand marketing with innovative thought-leadership.
 
Faith Thomas,  Executive Director of Enterprise Services Group (ESG)

Faith Thomas, Executive Director of ESG at SmartReply, is responsible for the execution processes of all voice and mobile marketing and mobile advertising programs.  With an extensive background in market research, analytics and operations, Faith is responsible for mobile logistics including short code administration and SMS/MMS/WAP mobile messaging. She also coordinates process improvement initiatives in the enterprise services department with cross-functional support for other departments. Prior to SmartReply, Faith was an Executive Account Manager at Pacific Research Group, responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships, market and technology research and statistical analysis and reporting.

Mitzi Mori, Executive Director of Product Strategy & Technology

Mitzi Mori is the Executive Director of Product Strategy and Technology for SmartReply.  In this role, Ms. Mori is responsible for determining product strategy and overseeing all product management and development activities. She brings more than17 years of experience in her field to the operational team at SmartReply, having held a series of planning, program management and software development positions at Xerox Corporation prior to joining the company.  Ms. Mori earned her MS in Engineering & Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a BS is Computer Science & Engineering at California State University, Long Beach.
